The AAFP recently overwhelmingly voted to make Physician Assistants members of their organization. In 2011 I attended the AAFP in Palm Springs and was greeted with the same warmth. One way we as a profession can obtain funding for education is to become a member of a committee and represent both the PA profession and the Physician community that recognizes us.
