The Naval Association of Physician Assistants plans to hold a NAPA Symposium later this year.
- When - The date is tentatively October 15-17, 2015
- Where - The location will be somewhere inside NMC Portsmouth
- What - Lectures should focus on medical and PA career/promotion related information
- Why - To gather Navy PAs for academic, career, and network building opportunities, provide Continuing Medical Education at a reduced cost in this era of financial austerity, and carry out NAPA's mission to the Navy and PAs.
- Cost - To be determined. If there is a cost, will likely be $30 or less to help cover cost of CME administration and refreshments

We still need volunteers to fill critical roles at the Symposium.
- Lecturer Chair - Gather and manage all lecturers, who will all be volunteers. Schedule the sequence of the lectures. Lectures should focus on medical academic, PA, and Navy PA career related information.
- Registration Chair - Manage Brochure distribution and Registration information.
- Retired/Civilian Chair - Gathering retired and civilian PA individuals outside the NAPA community who wish to attend, keeping stats for AAR purposes.
- CME Chair - Coordinate approval for the CME hours (estimate 16-20).
- Logistics Chair - Coordinate logistics for room and A/V etc.
- Social Chair - Any fun event on a Saturday afternoon to wrap up the symposium. EG golf outing?
